As I write this, surrounded by some very nice family in the front parlor of their home, I sit and wait to enjoy some wonderful Polish food in the kitchen!

We have successfully made it Wadowice Gorne.  Everyone is VERY nice and very friendly.  Dad is doing awesome with his Polish.  I am languishing in the background with my little Polish Phrase Book. Thank goodness for Lukasz – without him I would be lost.

We spent some time walking through the family farm.  Hey, these folks actually have a farm!  I saw a cow, some pigs, chickens, ducks, etc.  Little city-slicker here has become quite the rural farmer!!  Tomorrow, I may help them milk the cow.  (actually, no damn way).

Just wanted to send a quick note and let you know we arrived.  To be honest, we feel very comfortable here and they are all very nice.  They are all surrounding me as I type this email -- a rather strange situation. Lukasz keeps saying, “He’s not even looking at the keyboard when he types!”  Can't wait to spend the next few days with these nice people.  Don't worry -- I will take copious notes and many photos.
